How many times do you reheat a meal before it loses taste?
Seems like Hollywood has lost it.
A friend once told me that we attend events knowing we will be disappointed. Regardless, we show up. That hit hard. It hit home.
It could never be truer than in the film industry. And despite this shocking statistic (29!!), we will still wait for the release of these movies and series.
A case of familiarity breeding favourability? Maybe.
Now more than any other time, we need to cultivate taste. We don’t need monolithic legacies dictating our consumption.
I long for that year when every movie will be new. Even songs are not remixed that many times.
